Does “work selection” matter, or does nobody care about the lipstick being applied? Honestly, I get tired of Marketers that take liberty with word selection. I am not sure if they don’t understand the technology or whether they do and are intentionally acting like used car salespeople? Modern backup applications have to “restore all the data” before recovery is possible. Yet, their marketing machines gloss over the huge undertaking to get the last full backup and write the data back to the source and then restore each incremental backup in order before users or apps can access it. Why should reality get in the way of clever marketing word play?
